This video is for Northern Liberties' song "national anthem (for birds)." Justin Duerr---Philadelphia resident, visual artist, and singer/songwriter---is the frontman for Northern Liberties. And his solo material---Justin Duerr & the Auric Doves of Avalon (and/or Justin Duerr & the Etheric Phoenix of Love)---is being featured in the upcoming Issue of the Urban Artist Group presents...Sounds from the City Earth Underground (maga)zine. And he (Justin Duerr) has also provided the artwork for the Issue's cover page. Oh, and just in case you didn't catch it by watching the video, Justin is a bit preoccupied with birds...in fact, I am of the belief that Justin's thing for birds is bordering on obsession. But eccentricity among artists is not at all uncommon, and Justin Duerr is undoubtedly of the most wonderfully peculiar and utterly genious artists out there in the City Earth Underground these days. *Also, if you watch every fame of the video, you will see some examples of Justin's works of visual art mastery.
